Level: Beginner

Learn how to throw your first forms on the potter’s wheel. You will be guided through the processes of wedging, centring, forming walls, and shaping clay on the wheel, before learning how to trim the pots into their final shape. You will then select your four favourites and be shown how to decorate using coloured slips, before learning how to apply glaze for them to be fired and ready to collect within three weeks of the last session.

£175 includes tuition, equipment, materials and firing of four pieces.
